Lottery Simulator is a text-based simulation of the Illinois lottery known as Lucky Day Lotto! The simplicity of this lottery means it's easy to grasp the rules, and indeed the game is a two-button game! Rise up the ranks from "N00b" to "Richest Person Alive" in this low-stakes, low-prize virtual lottery! Beats blowing money on the real lottery, considering the odds of winning are less likely than being struck by lightning! (Oh crap, wasn't meant to say that. Hope the boss doesn't find out)

Serious Stuff Below

Thos game is intended as satire, as the realistic odds of winning the lottery mean you will not win anything substantial for a long time, if ever. I held Z and X down simultaneously for 30 minutes, an unintended cheat by the way and won just ~$5,000 in ~23,000 draws.

The truth is, the lottery is nigh impossible to win and is a losing battle in the gambling world. The house advantage is huge, and while your local lottery is most likely wildly different to this one, the odds still remain astronomically unlikely.

The point is, the lottery is a losing bet no matter how many tickets you buy and how often, That said, it's not my job to tell you what you can and can't do. All I can say is if you want, buy the download of the "game" as thanks for your enlightenment.

By the way, I made a post-mortem of sorts about the game on the HGS blog. go check it out .
